Listed below are the ongoing and upcoming projects the Wyuka Historical Foundation are involved with.
Guided and Self-Guided Tours
Local historian, Ed Zimmer, hosts walking tours in the Spring and Fall. Please check upcoming events. Explore the history and beauty that is Wyuka Cemetery. Pick up a tour book in the cemetery’s main office ($5) or download the tour book. Please note the tour book is 115 pages.

Littlest Angel Fund Drive
In 1869, Wyuka Cemetery was established by an Act of the State Legislature. This Act also declared that the Cemetery provide free
burials for orphans, state wards and indigent children age 0 to 18 years.

Rudge Chapel
In his estate, Charles H. Rudge left $25,000 to Wyuka to build a chapel for public use.

Pershing Mural Project
The Pershing Mural Project is moving along, An area in front of the Mural will be concrete and contain benches and picnic tables. Funds have been collected to lay the foundation but more funds are needed to piece the mural back together.
If interested in donating, your check would be payable and forwarded to the Nebraska State Historical Society at 1500 R Street, Lincoln, NE 68508.
Be sure and note ‘Mural’ on your check.
